No Major GPA by the time of application

I will have taken no major prereqs for polisci by Nov. 1. I started CCC this summer and have only taken/enrolled in GE/IGETC requirements by the end of fall. All my major prereqs will be taken in the spring. By spring, I will have finished all prereqs for UCB, all but one for UCLA (CCC is missing an equivalent course), and IGETC. I can try to switch some GE classes with prereqs, but classes are extremely hard to get into at my college. How does not having a major GPA by end of fall affect my chances?
