I applied for fall 2017 and am very anxious as to what each of the schools are going to say. I have gotten into CSULB, HSU, SFSU, SJSU, UCD, and UCR. My gpa is at a 3.33. For UCLA my first major was Earth and Environmental Science, and when I looked through their profile of admitted students there isn't as many student that apply for that major, so I think that could help me since it means less competition. For UCSB I picked Environmental Science (BS). I don't really have any EC's. I worked on my papers since summer knowing it would be the only thing that would help me. I included working full time, and being a caretaker for my grandma, and how it takes up a lot of my time. I'm hoping that when they said they look at applications holistically they really meant it but what do you guys think. Help a fellow student out, thanks. And please be brutually honest.
