I'm currently in a California Community College. I have a GPA of 3.75, and am planning to major in BioChemistry. I'm planning on doing an internship with a lab this summer, and have currently logged in about 100 hours of an internship with an electrical maintenance company. I'm planning on tutoring Chemistry group sessions, and am a member of my College Medical club. I have some fairly interesting things to write about in my application essay (getting brain surgery for cancer, missing school for 6 months with major exams coming up, and still managing to ace them, living in 4 different countries etc.) My question to you guys is, what else I can do to help maximize my chances of getting into UC Berkeley or UCLA. Any help is appreciated!
