So, you guys, I am in a bit of a pickle here.
A few weeks ago I got waitlisted at UCI (my 1st choice) for CS and yesterday I got admitted to UCR (also for CS). The problem is I need to SIR by June 1, but most likely UCI will not release my waitlist decision until the end of June.
Could I SIR to UCR and then, if UCI accepts me, decline UCR's offer and go to UCI? Would SIRing to UCR automatically drop me off the UCI's waitlist?
