Hello everyone,
I'm planning to apply to transfer to some of the UC's and USC (major: bioengineering).
If I were to apply to transfer next year, what grades do the school get? In other words, if I submit the application in November, would they get my grades for that Fall and upcoming Spring or just the semesters that I have already finished?
My Spring semester ends around the beginning of June and the transfer notifications are between March and April. So I'm guessing they won't be able to see my Spring semester? After applying, when my grades for Fall come in, do I submit it to them or something like that?
The important thing is, by Spring semester of next year, I would have completed all the requirements anyway. I am just contemplating whether to take summer courses or do a summer internship. Should I get in as much of my requirements as possible before applying through summer courses or do a summer internship? Which would strengthen my application more?
I hope you guys understand what I mean. Even typing this is a mouthful. Sorry for all these questions, but my counselor isn't much help at my school and I know bioengineering is a competitive major and I am just confused.
Thanks,
