Hey guys, one of my friends recently told me that he got accepted into UCSD last year as an undeclared major when he applied for compsci. Reason being that compsci is a heavily capped major and he didn't have all the prereqs done. Do all UCs do this? And if so, how common is it? I'm asking because UCSB recently changed their psychology program, where they replaced the psychology major complete with psychology and brain sciences, which focuses a lot more on math and science. Thus, I'm missing a ton of prereqs, as I tailored my course plan for UCLA's psychology program, which doesn't require nearly as many science/math courses. My GPA is a 4.0, but yeah like I said I'm missing a bunch of prereqs for UCSB. Is there any chance that UCSB will offer me an undeclared spot?
