Hi guys,
I'm just looking for a bit of advice. Throughout my time at junior college, I've really struggled with mathematics. I've pushed myself incredibly hard, only to experience one failure after the next. I've had so many personal problems and I've been speaking to a therapist lately about my problems. I was diagnosed with ADHD last year but have tried to refrain from taking stimulants.
During winter quarter, I failed multivariable calculus. I just learned though that I was accepted to UC Santa Barbara and am basically sure my acceptance will be invalidated. Everything pretty much came crashing down this quarter and I'm in a weird place as far as my confidence in myself goes. Getting to attend UCSB would be the opportunity of a lifetime and I feel like I should be able to talk with somebody at the school to explain what I've been going through and why my transcript is so poor.
I seriously am not here to complain about my issues but I really am wondering if anybody has gone through, or knows somebody else who has had a similar experience. I don't know what my next move should be.
