Transferring from a CSU to CC to UC? Help

Hi everyone, I am currently a 2nd year attending SFSU who is planning to transfer to a CC. I've been reading all the threads about the transfers and stuff but I am still confused on the UC unit caps. First off my original major was Nursing but I plan to switch majors and take classes for Microbiology at a CC. There I hope to finish all the required classes for the major to possibly TAG or just apply normally to a UC. Back to the unit cap, at the end of this semester I will end up 89 semester units. However, 24 of those units are due to AP scores and another 4 units is due to taking a class at a CC. In total, I have 61 SFSU units but 21 of those units are from upper division classes, the rest are lower division and nursing pre reqs. Due to this would I go over the unit cap limit? I am very confused about this rule and need help understanding. I know UCI does not have this cap limit but other UCs like UCSB (which I would like to apply to) have it but I've read that other people have been able to apply even with more than the 90 unit cap. I just need help feeling like not all is lost because I chose to go to a 4 year instead of a CC. I'm also planning to take 2 summer classes that are 3 units each but for nursing. I will be applying to other nursing programs while taking Micro classes however Micro is my back up and I want to make sure I still have a future with it. Thank you for reading :)
