Hello, I am a freshman at UC San Diego but am hoping to transfer to either UC Berkeley or UCLA at some point (either after one or 2 years). I've heard of the uc to uc letter of reciprocity which states that if you complete all your Ge's at one uc, you are exempt from taking any Ge's at the uc you transfer to. I was wondering if this letter of reciprocity applies only to my overall college ge requirements, or my major lower division requirements as well. For example, if I were to complete all the ge requirements of ucsd but not my lower div major requirements, would I still be applicable for a uc to uc letter of reciprocity?
