So my major is chemistry and I am currently on the waitlist for the last physics course that I have to take(general physics 3). But I forgot to mention on the additional comments section(tau) that I am on the waitlist and might not be able to get into the class.
But I will clearly know if I get in to the class or not by the drop deadline on 2/7, which is just a few days later from now. Will this(not explaining that I was in the waitlist on the additional comments section) penalize my acceptance or it doesn't matter as long as I let them know by email after the tau deadline? I will let them know as soon as possible if any changes to my schedule will be made.
Or Is it okay to update my tau right now? Because if I update the tau right now, it will say that "my tau was updated on 2/1/2019" and admissions would probably assume that I just did it after the deadline. Will this penalize my result if I update my tau after the deadline? I am so desperate right now please help
