i'm currently at my 2nd year at CC and will be staying 1 more year to complete ~90 semester units.
I have a lot just because the UC's i'm applying to quite have different requirements (i'm applying to UCLA, UCSD, UCI, and UCR; UCR is my backup choice but they require a looot of gen eds so im basically just completing IGETC, in addition to the major requirements). my major is chemical engineering.
it's just a few more weeks until spring semester is done, and i'll be applying in the fall. By then i would have completed roughly 62 units. i'm also confused about whether they will look into the units you ALREADY completed prior applying, or essentially the total number of units you'll take in CC.
I currently have a 4.0 and i'm trying my best to keep up with work and extracurriculars, but can UC's straight up just reject transfer applicants just because of having too many units? thank you.
