I have a really big problem right now. So I was accepted into UC San Diego as a political science major and accepted my admissions decision to attend. I decided to take only two non required political science courses for this semester since I already had my 60 units completed. About a month ago, I talked with a UCSD counselor and she basically told me that I have no required courses for this major and it won’t affect me if I dropped one since I was considering it at the time. I ended up not dropping both because I wanted to persevere. Well, I received a C+in political theory II and a D* (69.6%) in another poli class. My anxiety is out the roof right now. Would UCSD rescind my admissions decision because of this D? Should I email my professor? I know, the best thing to do is to let them know right now and they’ll give me a definite answer, but it’s just anxiety provoking for me. The class isn’t required... plus I’ve already completed my IGETC...
