Let me clarify. I submitted the information correctly! But. Its the date that has not been accurately updated. I updated before the update deadline however it shows 02/01/17 as the update date. This has to be a mistake because I am literally writing this before that date has occurred(PST. Which btw Im in that time zone and that what they use). The hell do I do?? I emailed them asking about it but won't hear a response back probably for at least a week.

Junior Level Transfer? Transferring from a Cal State as a 3rd year to a UC?
I am a second year undergrad student as a CSU and will be majoring in either nursing or math depending on if I get accepted into a nursing school. I read the admissions requirement on the UC website but I'm kind of confused regarding my situation. I am planning on apply to UCR as a junior level transfer my 3rd year of college if that is possible. Will I still be considered a junior level transfer if I apply my 3rd year in college or will that be to late?
The reason why I am applying late is because I still needed to finish all my GE's for my school and others before I apply to their programs. Also, can somebody also tell me how impacted the math program for UCR is since I will be applying as a math major.
thanks in advance.

UC application info mistake
I mistakenly reported my math course taken in summer 2015 which should be a discrete math course instead of a linear algebra course.(both courses were completed, so it may seem like I retook the linear algebra) However, the discrete math course isn't required for admission, the grade for the class is reported correctly, my units including AP credits exceed 60 semester units, and I indicated this mistake in additional comment. Will this fact affect my acceptance chance?

Transfer to UC
Hey everyone. I am planning to take a transfer to UC Davis or UCLA after attending 2 year at a community college. What else is considered while having transfer to UCs other than GPA? Thank you

Finish my Bachelors at a CC? (elective credits)
Hi! I will be finishing up all my Upper Divs this summer, but will have about 12 credits of electives left to finish my degree. It would save me a TON of money to move back home and do one semester at my community college back home to finish them up, though I have never heard of anyone doing that.

Taking major prereqs in last semester before transferring to UCB/UCLA. WIll it decrease my chances?
I know that it has been said that it really does not matter whether you don't finish your prereqs during the last semester before transferring. However, I am just curious if it will decrease my application.
I intend to transfer UCB Bio for Fall 2018 and I plan to take my last Gen Bio 2 class during my last semester. Will that affect my standing? I heard that TAUs only update Fall's grades. I was wondering if my last semester will hurt my application in the process.

Anyone get a request for UNOFFICIAL transcripts from all institutions?
I just received this today, I think I have a personalized link to upload the transcripts

UCSB Fall 2017 Transfer Thread
Yeah, apps aren't due for another three months but getting discussion started early can't hurt. Post your stats/ECs/major, what your situation is, ask for or give advice/chances, etc.. Hopefully we can all support each other through another stressful round of college applications.
I don't have a GPA yet because I'm transferring after one year with AP creds covering the other year, so this fall will be everything for me. Applying as an econ major.

UCSD My Application
Hi, I'm a transfer applicant for UCSD, and on the MyApplication site, none of my AP scores are listed. It just says "No Scores Received" under the self-reported scores section. Shouldn't the AP tests that you reported in the UC application be under the self-reported scores section?

Straight to CC or CS?
I am a high school senior and I got accepted to CSUCI. I was planning on going there and majoring in biology and get my Bachelors there and then transfer to UCB or UCSB. I heard it's easier to get accepted to a UC if you are a CC student, so what is my best option? Is it better to attend a CS first or a CC? What is my best option economically as well as for my future?

Personal Statement: I'd like to say these are solid. Lets just leave it at that.
Honor's Designation on the following courses:
PHYS 1441: Physics 1.3 (Completed; First Semester of Calculus Based Physics)
COMSC 75: Computer Science I (Completed)
COMSC 76: Computer Science II (In Progress; equivalent to COMPSCI 61B)
Other (For UC Berkeley):
I've explained my grade dip in my application which was due to family related circumstances. At CUNY: NYCCT I had a 3.98 GPA, at Moorpark College I had a 2.93 GPA and my GPA at EVC atm is 3.727.
By the time I transfer I will have completed two "additional recommended coursework". The classes that I will have completed are MATH 55 and COMPSCI 61B. Currently COMPSCI 61B is in progress
How am I looking right now? I feel like I'm going to get rejected from UC Berkeley and UC San Diego because of my GPA :( My main goal is UC Berkeley.

Unique Case: UC (Academic Dismissal) -> CC -> UC Transfer
While at UCI I did poorly while I was there. My GPA there is 1.11 now and have been academically dismissed. I've been doing fairly well at my community college in hopes for readmission back into UC Irvine. I had some questions regarding transfer back into UC Irvine, or any of the other UC's available through the TAG program
1. Do the credits from UCI (academically dismissed) still carry over through acceptance into a new UC.
2. I took 40 units of which 12 Units I failed (F grade). I've read that based upon performance at my current CC I would still be admissible through TAG. Is this correct?
3. Is there a way to expunge or an academic renewal process at the UC's to clear my first year of poor performing grades.
Thank you!

Academic Renewal Question
So I'm looking to transfer to UC Davis for Fall '18 as an English major. I'll, of course, be applying this fall, and attempting TAG, but I realized, thanks to a very difficult Fall '16, I put my TAG acceptance in jeopardy with C's that dragged down my GPA. Long story short, I went to a different community college four years or so ago, had a crappy semester then for other reasons, and received very unsavory grades. One of these grades is a C, the rest are C's and D's, but one C in particular happens to be UC transferable. If I get the grades I intend to get this year, I will fall .02 short of filing TAG successfully.
Unless I request academic renewal for the previous college? I am not sure how that works. But I calculated my GPA without that particularly bad semester and it helps my UC Transferable GPA /a bunch/.
I'm not sure how I go about this, or if it will even be accepted in terms of filing a TAG in September or for admission into UC's at all. Guidance, please? :(

uc lower division transfer
I got into UC davis my senior year in high school but decided to play college soccer at a small liberal arts school in new york. but my major is biology and realized if i wanted to go to med school im better off at a UC than a small liberal arts school. Im currently a freshman and applied as lower division transfer to uc davis and uc irvine for the fall of 2017. anyone know what my chances of getting in are?? decisions dont come out til late april and im just so anxious to know

Do W's affect TAG decision?
Hey, what's up guys. I just had a quick question about getting W's and if it affects my TAG decision. I'm going to apply for TAG in fall 2018, but already have 2 W's on my transcript. I'm going to be most likely applying for UC Davis' TAG system, but am worried that it'll get denied because of the 2 W's. Also, how much does it affect someone's regular UC application if they have 2 or more W's on their transcript?

UC transfer acceptance chances?
I am applying to transfer to a UC this fall for fall 2018 from a California community college. Right now my GPA is a 3.4 (trying to raise to a 3.6 before applying), I am an honor student and I've taken a few honors courses. I want to get my AS degree in biology as an Honors Scholar (at least 15 honors course units). I volunteer with a nonprofit organization (>100 hours) that sets up events that consist of organizing food pantries, cooking and serving meals at homeless shelters, farming vegetables for low income families, etc. I run a small online business where I design and create handmade custom event attire for my clients. I want to apply as a human biology major to UCSD. I will be applying to other UCs as well, but UCSD is what I'm aiming for.

UC to CC to UC? TAG?
I am currently a first year undeclared major at UCM. After some thought, I have decided that I want to major in Public Health, however, UCM only offers a Bachelor's of Arts in Public Health. I want a BS instead of a BA, and UCI offers a BS in PH. My advisor suggested that I can stay at UCM and transfer to UCI after completing my GE, but I want a guarantee admission rather than a 50/50 chance. If I finish my first year here at UCM, I will have a total of 32 completed units.
If I transfer to a CC after my first year, will I qualify for TAG? UCI requires a minimum of 60 semester units to fulfill TAG and minimum of 30 semester units to submit a TAG. Can I combine the units I attained from UCM with the units from CC, so that I only have to stay at a CC for a year and still meet the required 60 semester units? Or do I have to start over and basically stay at a CC for two years to meet the required units?
Also, does it matter what kind of bachelor's degree I hold? I am aiming to become a healthcare administrator, and I plan on getting a Master's in Healthcare Administration after getting my bachelor's. There seems to be a negative connotation around the phrase "bachelor's of arts", and BS seems to open wider job opportunities. That is why I prefer a BS rather than a BA.

Official UC Berkeley Haas Transfer Thread 2017
Hey guys! So I've been scouring this site for a 2017 Haas transfer thread, but to no avail. I'm curious to see how other Haas transfers have been doing, now that we've completed the application as a whole. This thread can be used for discussion in regards to prospective Haas transfers for the year 2017. Reach out to me ladies and gents; I'd love to hear from all of you!
